Floor Manager Position
The Floor Manager is an experienced position that is expected to lead the sales staff on the floor. They are to assist the general retail managers in their day to day evaluation and operation of the retail store front. Delivering superior customer service to both the customers and the entire organization: exuding friendliness and patience and motivating staff through their enthusiasm and leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to come up with solutions to problems on the fly. They will share their superior knowledge of cannabis products with the staff and customers, ensuring that industry compliance standards are met throughout the sales process. They will also be responsible for training new staff members and in demonstrating new procedures to all staff members. Detail oriented, the floor manager is meticulous in his duties which also include daily and weekly reports to upper management.
This position is for part-time employment – from 30-40 hours a week.
The pay rate for this position is $18-$22 an hour depending on experience.
– 3 + years in a supervisory or management role in a retail storefront
– Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
– Strong math skills, ability to count confidentially
– Adept communication abilities, able to communicate effectively and efficiently
Leadership – ability to lead other team members on the floor through direction and as example
Problem Solver – issues come up all the time in Cannabis retail – candidate must be able solve problems without prior instruction
Superior Product Knowledge – maintain in-depth knowledge of all products in store and to strive to learn about and pass on information to other staff
Exceptional Customer Service – must be able to handle returns and exchanges, win over customers and be an example to all staff members how to interact with customers
Professionalism – candidate must embody professionalism at all times during their employment and be a guide of how to act to the rest of the staff
Detailed Oriented – must be precise in their duties and in their reports
Communication – must have excellent written and verbal skills
Personable – candidate must have great interpersonal skills and be able to discuss matters openly and honestly with staff and customers alike
Responsible – candidate must hold a great deal of responsibility to thrive in this role

Located on iconic Hollywood Blvd, Greenhouse Herbal Center is seeking to set the standard in the Patient/Client relationship and to add to our professional team a human resources expert to help manage our ever-growing company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
To be the best sales person on the floor and lead as an example to others in their excellent customer service and sales ability.
Provides daily reports to upper management about the day to day operations.
Leads sales floor staff/shift leaders/drivers – must guide and direct staff on the floor to the efficient management of the retail storefront.
Ensures sales promotions are working properly and staff is made aware. When we do promotions to prioritize those sales and assist staff in pushing those products.
Ensures supplies and products are reported for reordering when at low levels to maintain a constant flow of high demand products and to help designate which are not.
Direct small staff meetings during downtime to motivate and point out things to staff. Also to address and direct shift lead to resolve issues as they arise.
Participates in meetings with upper management, to develop and suggests solutions to issues on the floor and in other areas.
Client/Customer Relations – to maintain the established well working relationship we have with our current cliental and to develop new ones.
Working in partnership with Management in achieving goals such as Special Projects and Responsibilities that are assigned.
We are doing everything possible to keep our team and customers safe. Staff are required to wear masks/shields, use hand sanitizer and gloves as needed. Customers will be required to again wear masks as of 7/18/2021.

Sanitization procedures still occurring every hour. HR coordinator would work out a separate office and employees are encouraged to wear masks unless they sign a waiver in accordance with the new CAL/OSHA vote to end face mask requirement.
